Every child is a child of GOD and, as such, is just as important as any other person. Beer Lahai Roi, the God that sees is our banner, and we believe that, like in Hagar’s time he sees us, cares for us even when everything seems lost.St. Ann Baby and Children’s Home he has been action by God to help orphaned babies and children, realize their full potential as ordinary by him.
Children are our most valued resource. St Ann’s Baby and Children Home is dedicated to the ministry of the whole, by providing children’s physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs. This is accomplished in a nurturing environment, with love and compassionate care.
St. Ann baby and children’s home is founded and managed by caring, loving, God fearing, experienced and skilled professionals committed to providing quality accommodation, handle and care for babies and children from various backgrounds.
Our Purpose
St. Ann’s Baby and Children Home is a Trust organization, created to perform the Great Commission” by ministering to orphaned, dependent, neglected, abused, abandoned and status offended babies and children.
The babies or children come to us in various ways, some are abandoned in hospitals, others brought by the police, or recommended by the local government District Children Officer, and others are from broken homes caused by: alcohol, mental illness, crime, physical illness, poverty, neglect, desertion, death, e.t.c.
The majority of these babies, have been abandoned or orphaned from a very tender age thus, they have greater individual needs. Their faith and confidence in themselves and their world has been shattered and they no longer know the love and security of a family.
The home will endeavour to create a family atmosphere for the children. Therefore the goal of St. Ann’s Baby and Children’s Home is redemptive, in the restoration of the child’s faith in him or herself, God, and his work. This shall be accomplished through our expression of individual love for the child, his/her acceptance into the Children’s Home community, as well as the best professional assistance available.
The children’s will be loved, their needs met just as a Christ loved the church and their spiritual growth enhanced. To this end, St. Ann’s Baby and Children’s Home, with continual help and guidance of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, so dedicates itself.
The current goal of our Home is to take care of the child’s physical needs, while ministering to the emotional and spiritual needs. These needs are constantly changing, just as society changes.
The home will endeavour to counsel the child, through contact with experience careers, liaison with District Children Officers and more specialized care as required. A day nurse will also be involved in day-to-day health needs of the children.When a child cannot be reunited with his/her own family, the home endeavours to provide a home for as long as the child needs it, until he/she reaches adulthood, graduates from high school, college or university.
